Flatfox to become part of SMG Swiss Marketplace Group

SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG is acquiring a controlling majority stake in Flatfox, while la Mobilière remains on board as a minority shareholder. With the acquisition of Flatfox, SMG is driving forward the digitalisation of the Swiss real estate industry and expanding its real estate ecosystem.

Flatfox's technology will give SMG's real estate marketplaces a further innovative boost. The change of ownership will enable Flatfox to continue to grow in SMG's new attractive environment and actively drive forward the digitalisation of the real estate market.

Together with Flatfox, SMG's real estate marketplaces will make the rental process even easier and more efficient for users of ImmoScout24 and Homegate. Martin Waeber, Managing Director Real Estate at SMG, emphasises the immediate added value: "It will be even easier for tenants to find a new home in future - digitally and in the most direct way."

Interesting prospects are also opening up for Flatfox's corporate customers: SMG's well-known marketplaces offer Flatfox users additional reach and marketing opportunities.
